HC WCID 116 and HRF offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the 4th of July Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, July 6th during normal business hours. HRF office/lobby remains closed to visitors/customers until further notice due to social distancing concerns related to COVID-19. Utilize the drop boxes located at the Clubhouse (5300 Coral Gables) or at the Water Plant (5135 Cobles Corner) for water payments and HRF annual Patron dues. HC WCID 116, the “District”, has a sanitary sewer collection system comprised of approximately 43,160 feet of gravity sewer piping ranging in size from 8 inches to 24 inches in diameter and close to 350 manholes. The system is designed to collect wastewater from residents and commercial entities and transport it to the wastewater treatment plant. The majority of this system was constructed of reinforced concrete and clay pipe in the 1970s. Concrete pipe can experience aggressive deterioration from the corrosive environment created by the sewer gases. During normal business operating hours, the HC WCID 116 and HRF offices will remain open. In order to protect our customers and our employees during the COVID-19 virus issues, we are limiting public contact. The front door will remain locked. Payments can be made online, placed in Drop Box, or mailed to the address on water bill statement. New water service applications can be sent by email. Lifeguards for the Huntwick Pool are managed by Aquatic Management of Houston. If you are at least 15 years old, have a positive attitude and excellent swimming skills, you are just the person we are looking to hire. All lifeguards are required to be American Red Cross certified in Lifeguarding and CPR / First Aid. Classes available. First year lifeguards earn $9.25 / hour. Apply online or call 281-446-5003.
