The District has implemented an email and text alert system for the residents of Harris County Water Control and Improvement District No. 116. Due to necessary electrical repairs, power will be out to all Patron card access Facilities (ie bathrooms, tennis & pickleball courts, clubhouse) at both properties at 5300 Coral Gables and 13715 Charwell Crossing on Monday, December 15, 2025. Electrical power and Patron card access to both Rec Facility properties is expected to be restored by end of day on Monday, Dec 15.

A public hearing for Harris County Water Control & Improvement District No 116 to discuss the proposed tax rate for the 2025 tax year will be held on October 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Early Morning Adult Swim is being extended to Sunday, November 2, 2025. EMAS is offered Tuesday thru Sundays at 5:00am to 10:00am. Reminders: No lifeguards on duty during EMAS. HRF Full Patron must be 18 years old or older. Minors under the age of 18 are not permitted in the pool or pool area during EMAS sessions. Hosted by HCA and HCWCID 116 Open to all Residents of HCWCID 116 and all Patrons of the Recreation Facilities Friday, July 4th 11:30 am - Parade Children’s bike parade begins at intersections of Balmore Circle and Glen Erica through the Huntwick Subdivision, and ending at the HRF Clubhouse, where participants can enjoy a thorough soaking by the Champions Fire Department hook and ladder trucks! Decorate your car, bike, scooter, roller blades, stroller, wagon or whatever gets you there! 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm Pool Party There will be music, games, great food and local craft beer.

HCWCID 116 – HUNTWICK RECREATION FACILITIES NOTICE: The Dog Park located at 13715 Charwell Crossing is now open for Resident’s use. Be advised the on/off switch for dog park lights are now located inside dog park. Currently dog park lights are not on a timer and we are working to have that installed within the next week or two. Please turn off dog park lights after use. You will also notice a lot of muddy areas boarding the tennis courts. Please be mindful of these areas inside dog park while grass grows in.
