The Huntwick Recreation Facilities is pleased to inform you that HCWCID 116 is opening the HRF Pool on Friday, May 1, 2026 to HRF Patrons and their paid Guests*.
Pool party requests will be taken this swim season. Reserving the Huntwick Pool does not provide exclusive use. With the exception of swim team practices and meets, the Huntwick Pool remains open to all HRF Full Patrons and their paid Guests during hours listed. Contact HRF Coordinator to book your next pool party or to become a Full Patron at 281-444-3404 x-4 or email admin@huntwickwater.com. Pool maintenance and lifeguards are managed through American Pool Houston 281-916-0020. Lifeguard jobs and training available. Visit https://guardforlife.com/ to apply.
Ten Minute Rest Period: While the pool is open, lifeguards will initiate a ten-minute rest period during the last ten minutes of every hour.
Because the Fair Housing Act declares that an adult swim period is age discrimination, the designated rest period will be for ALL SWIMMERS. Pool closes promptly per schedule below.
Early Morning Adult Swim: EMAS will offered beginning on April 21 thru October 31 on Tuesdays thru Sundays only from 5:00am to 8:00am. No lifeguards on duty during EMAS. HRF Patron must be 18 years old or older. Patrons are expected to use the buddy system. “Buddy” must be another adult Full Patron and both Patrons must swipe their access card at gate entrance to pool. Access to pool gates promptly end per schedule below. Pool gates must remain closed at all times. At the Board’s discretion, EMAS card access will be removed from Patrons violating EMAS rules. Email admin@huntwickwater.com for access to be added to Patron and Buddy’s access card. Provide name of Buddy in email request.
HRF Pool Thunder/Lightning Policy: At the first clear sound of thunder or the first visible
lightning, evacuate the pool and pool deck and seek shelter in a hard-top vehicle. Patrons and
their guests cannot wait out inclement weather inside Rec Facility building or under breezeway. Lifeguards will reopen pool 30 minutes after the last clear distinct sound of thunder to resume pool activities.
