HCWCID 116 Board of Directors will hold a special meeting open to the public at 5300 Coral Gables Drive, Houston, TX 77069 on Monday, August 19th, 2024 at 2:00 pm to consider Huntwick Recreational Facilities Park Design Report, including review conceptual park master plant and related probable costs associated. Thank you all for your patience as we worked to restore operations to both Recreation Facility Locations at 5300 Coral Gables and 13715 Charwell Crossing. As of Wednesday, 7/17/2024, power has been restored to Donut Lake Rec Facilities at 13715 Charwell Crossing. HRF Patrons are welcome to access bathrooms and tennis courts with issued access cards. Tennis court and Dog park lighting are functioning for evening use. Enjoy your visit at the Parks! We are working diligently to restore operations at both Recreation Facility locations at 5300 Coral Gables and 13715 Charwell Crossing. As of July 12, the Rec Facility at 5300 Coral Gables has power. Tennis and Pickleball courts as well as the Pool facilities are open for Patron Use. Donut Lake Rec Facilities at 13715 Charwell Crossing is still without power therefore the tennis courts and bathrooms are closed until power is restored. HCWCID No. 116 Parks Improvement Plan Town Hall Meeting was held on May 15, 2024 at the Huntwick Recreational Center. As part of the District’s May 15 public Town Hall Meeting, several illustrative displays were developed by Baxter & Woodman to depict the types of park facilities the District could implement or improve. Improvements may include: landscaping, furnishings, shade structures and pavilions, renovations to tennis and pickleball courts, additional walking paths and improved pedestrian circulation, and many more elements. Happy Mother’s Day to all. Due to weather conditions today, the Huntwick Recreational Facilities pool will be closed today, Sunday, May 12, 2024 to HRF Patrons and their guests. We wish all to be safe.  Pool will resume normal posted pool schedule tomorrow.
